A dentist who works at my dental school recently told me the story of an elderly man who came into the school clinic to receive treatment. This man was a farmer and dead set in his ways. He insisted that drinking milk helped his teeth. The man did not want anything to do with fluoride, price as he believed all you really needed was milk. Unfortunately, information pills that man doesn’t have very many teeth left and if he continued separating himself from the positive dental health benefits of fluoride, search he will probably need full dentures soon.
Many people believe that milk strengthens the teeth. Fortunately for us, we don’t have to rely on people’s beliefs. There have been studies done to try to correlate drinking milk with oral health. Here’s what we know so far:
- Tom! You’d better find some studies!!!
