About Me

Hi, my name is Tom and I want to thank you for visiting Oral Answers.  I am originally from Michigan and currently a fourth year dental student.  I'll be graduating in May 2012.

Why I Started Oral Answers

I decided to put this blog together at the beginning of 2010 to help me learn more about dentistry.

In the first two years of dental school, I spent a majority of my time learning about the basic sciences and the complex science of human teeth.  Unfortunately, we didn't focus too much on how to answer the simple questions that our patients would ask us during our last couple years of dental school and throughout our careers as dentists.

I started this site with the goal of learning more about dentistry and sharing what I already have learned with the world.  Since starting Oral Answers, I have devoted much more time to learning about dentistry.  Hopefully things I learn while writing articles for Oral Answers will help me to become a better dentist when I graduate from dental school.
